Dr. Barbara Bachmeier, PsyD, is a licensed and practicing clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. She is the founder of Light to Light Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on healing, support, and community-based empowerment. And she is the researcher, content creator and host of her Live Shows on You Got This You Tube Channel; Dr. Grandma B is her Avatar for her Series Videos.

Her professional background includes doctoral research in Applied Behavior Analysis, the development of continuing education curriculum for psychologists—including work focused on integrating spiritual dimensions into psychological practice—and published clinical work on lamotrigine and challenging behavior.

Her work is grounded in an integrative approach to psychology—understanding how the mind works, managing emotional experience, and integrating all aspects of the self, including spiritual dimensions when appropriate.
